Azad and Jammu Kashmir, Prime Minister Sardar Sikandar Hayat on Wednesday said that Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus service should be started immediately. Talking to BBC, he said, "Neither I nor any one from the Kashmiri political circles have opposed the bus service." However, they made it clear that no Kashmiri would travel by this bus along with any documents such as passport or visa. Because, it would enable India to declare Line of Control as International Border, he added.

To a question he said President Musharraf desired to resolve the Kashmir issue and had given maximum relaxation to India. About President's proposals for resolving Kashmir issue he said President Musharraf made this offer to India because the issue would not be resolved if Pakistan had stuck to its claim and if India kept on describing Kashmir as its integral part. That's why, he invited India to discuss the issue on whatever option she wanted.

Sardar Sikandar quoted President Musharraf's statement that this was not the final formula but there were several formulas and President Musharraf expressed readiness to hold talks on any option.
